STORY

With Lucia’s devoted love and unconditional support, her Husband Ramón succeeded in his job, earning a privileged economic stature. Her children, Liliana and Miguel, attended the best schools and never suffered the scarceness the couple went through at the beginning of their marriage. Regardless all these, Lucia is not happy. Ramon has become materialistic and cruel: he constantly humiliates her. He even turned their children against Lucía and they treat her disrespectfully.

Liliana is very spoiled and unpredictable, to the extreme of deciding to follow her boyfriend all the way to Spain only to become pregnant and then be abandoned. Keeping her pregnancy a secret, Liliana leaves her baby girl, Natalia, in Spain to the care of nuns and returns to Mexico. At home she ends up stealing money from her father to support her baby girl.
Miguel Angel is a lazy and irresponsible teen who thinks he deserves the world’s privileges for free.

Lucia has turned into a dark shadow; into an insecure and sad person who doesn’t know what her dreams are anymore. Her only moments of happiness are those spent in front of a computer. She opens her heart to a soul mate who understands her, advices her and who she slowly but surely falls in love with. This mysterious man whose face she has never seen and whose voice she only can imagine in her dreams, simply signs his messages as…”Wind”.

Her friend Rosario also bares great pain. She had to escape with her children because her violent husband would beat her up constantly. Eduardo and Gabriela, her children, barely remember how their father really was, since Rosario raised them under the impression that he was a loving and responsible father who died when they were young. This lie creates a chaos in Rosario’s and her children’s lives when Victor finds them. Based on deceits he gains both kid’s trust and friendship, to the point of convincing Gabriela to move in with him. Rosario now lives in a constant terror, fearing for her daughter’s safety.

Triana’s life was colored by a great love story. She left Spain almost three decades ago after discovering her husband in the arms of her best friend. Devastated, she moved to Mexico where she met Martin and shared many years of love and happiness. Little after Martin’s death, Triana finds out she will soon meet him in heaven because she is suffering from a fatal cancer. To make matters more ironic, Triana then finds out that her ex husband died in Spain and she has inherited all his fortune. Triana has nothing left to do but laugh at the paradoxes of life. Before dying, Triana makes her will and leaves her apartment in Mexico to Rosario and her fortune in Spain to Lucia. These two friends feel pain and sorrow for the lost of their dear friend and at the same time, they feel an immense gratitude for her generosity.

One day, Lucia finds out casually that Liliana gave birth to a daughter and that she is planning to give her up for adoption. Lucia spent her childhood in an orphanage and she is determined to prevent her granddaughter from sharing such a sad fate. Lucia confronts Liliana, but she denies the baby girl’s existence. Lucia then, turns to Ramon for help, and to her surprise finds him in bed with his lover, Rebeca. Heartbroken, Lucia has yet to face the terrible accusations of her son Miguel Angel who blames her for his break up with his most recent girlfriend. The boy won’t even talk to her. With her soul devastated by all this pain and feeling she is a burden for her family, Lucia packs up her things and leaves to Spain to start a new life and find little Natalia. There she meets Triana’s friends: Santiago, a distinguished painter and Jordy and Mayte who offer her their love and a place to stay. Santiago and Lucia feel an immediate attraction for each other, but Lucia cannot put aside the fact she is still married and presents him only her friendship. Her heart is consumed for Santiago’s love and surprisingly he ends up being “Wind”, her mysterious computer friend. Meanwhile Ramon’s corporation tumbles down due to his debts and the way his children spend money; he sinks deeper into the abysm of his addiction. On the contrary, Lucia changes into a new, elegant and secure woman. She discovers her talent in the business world when she associates with Mayte and increases her fortune. Aside from all that success, her happiness grows even more when Santiago helps her find baby Natalia.

Lucia knows that in order to be completely happy and give herself completely in body and soul to Santiago, she must return to Mexico once more and face all her fears and the pain she once left behind. She must re-discover all her illusions and memories; she must take control of her destiny and be in charge of her happiness once and for all. Santiago’s love has made her blossom again; beat younger than ever thanks to the power of a new love, autumn love… It’s never too late to love again… to live romance with more color and beauty than ever.
